Dongfeng and joint research and development of aluminum auto

On August 28, dongfeng company with aluminum corporation of China (hereinafter referred to as: chinalco) signed in dongfeng headquarters set up "dongfeng -- chinalco automotive aluminum alloy joint laboratory" strategic agreement. According to the agreement, the two sides will conduct business in the field of automotive aluminum alloy application coordination, new material, new technology, and the research, development and application of new technology.
Learned, automotive lightweighting is low carbon era mainstream automotive technology development direction, dongfeng company technology center has for years been in the deep research in this area, the recent series of dongfeng EJ electric whole aluminum lightweight car body production process has been adopted. Dongfeng with chinalco to establish joint laboratories, experts and scholars for both sides to build car development with aluminum alloy material, forming, surface treatment, parts design and quality improvement of technical cooperation and exchange platform.
